  1. Once upon a time a man who lived near Ballin Lough lake went out to catch his horse in the field at night. He saw a horse which looked like his own horse and went up to catch him. He put the bridle on him and he went on his back. The horse began running as far as the lake in order to throw his rider into the lake but the man jumped off the horse and the water horse went into the lake.
