    Some years ago there was a man by the name of Pewter living in the locality ,who had a child that was very sick .After trying many cures that failed he decided to go to see Biddy Early. Those who used to go to see Biddy always went late at night so as to be back before people got up the following morning and Pewter did the same .On his way to Biddy he met a little man on the road who accompanied him for a few miles. He was smoking a pipe which he offered to Pewter said he was after
