  1. 1. Churns
We have two churns at home but one of them is broken. The other one is called the barrel-churn. It is about fifteen years made. The principal parts of it are the cover, the frame, the handle and the barrel. It is not marked. We churn once a week in Winter and twin a week in Summer. My mother makes the churn. If a stranger comes in he makes a "dress" of the churn because if he did he would bring the butter with him.
The churn takes an hour to make in Winter and and half an hour in Summer. It is made with the hands there.
