    Once upon a time there lived in this townland a poor shepard. He went out one morning to count his flock. He saw a little leprecán sitting on mushroom. He walked up to him and said "give me your gold, I have you now." "All right" said the little man "come on with me." So they walked on together. When suddenly the little man said "look up the hill at the house on fire." The poor man looked up and when he turned around the Leprecán was gone.
