One night three men who lived in Burrane dreamt that if they went to a certain place they would find money hidden under a large flag and a lone bush in the middle of the field. They dreamed also that while they would be digging they should not speak a word.
About twelve o'clock the following night the men went to the place of their dream. One of them brought a bill-hook to cut down the bush. When they had the bush cut down they began digging. They were digging for a long time when one of the men remarked that the money was down very deep. No sooner had he uttered the words than they saw a large hound coming towards them. They got afraid and ran home and never went searching for the money again.
