On Hallow E'en the boys and girls put on false faces and goes round town and country behaving very badly.
In the country they take gates down of the fields and lets all the animals that are in the fields out and they wander away and gets lost.
In the town they tie a piece of cord round a large piece of stick and sticks the piece of stick in the ground and then ties the piece of cord on the knocker of the hall-door and so when the people of the house tries to open the door they can't.
