    and ready for baking. It was baked on a griddle. Potato bread is made from bruised potatoes; flour and salt added. It is then mixed together and baked on a pan. Long ago people used to eat potato bread for breakfast. When the oaten meal was scarce they eat it for supper. Long ao on Halloween night the people used to make "concannon" and have it in a pot near hand and put a spoon in it. In the morning the "concannon" and have it in would have been gone and he spoons would be left on the dish. The people believed it was the fairies that eat it.
