There is a fort in Drumora, and there are many strange stories told about it. One night there was a girl coming from a dance across the fort, her name was Brigid Smith from Crosserlough, that night she did not return home. She was missing for a week. Every neighbour was serching for her. At the end of a week, there came a strange old man to her home and told her parents to get six strong men and to go to the fort that night before twelve o clock.
