  1. The signs of good Weather
The signs of good weather are,
When the crows and swallows fly high
When the robin sings on a high branch
When the sun is of a dark red colour in the evening
When the smoke goes up straight from the chimneys
When the sheep and goats go up on the hills from the farmyard.
    The signs of frost are,
When the dew falls early in the evening
When the night is so cold and sharp
The sky cloudless with the winds from the north we may expect frosty weather.
When the wind is from the north east and the birds flying restless around the house it is a sure sign of snow. The birds seem very hungry before snow comes and they also come to our doors in search of food.
