  1. This is a very true story which I am going to tell. It is about churning.
    There was a man and his Aunt and her sister who lived in the townland of Mullaghboy.
    There was one particular time of the year when they were churning the butter would not come on the milk. So one day they were talking to a man and they told him about the butter not coming on the milk He told them that there was a man up in the Co Meath who would get the butter on the milk. So the two women went up, and when they got there one of them went in, The man said good morrow Margaret. So she told him the trouble. Well this is one of the things he told her, tell John to rock the churn with his left hand and the butter will come on the milk.
