   Our church it is gone and what will become of us, Dan tumbled it down by reform. The above was composed about the year 1832 about a Reform meeting held at Lavey above the town of Cavan. It was told by an old man, who went to the meeting. It recalls how the church at Kilmore was raged and the 'Brunswickers' fled before the fury of the Reformers.

   You sportsmen of high and low station,
   I pray lend an air to my song;
   For a moment if you pay attention
   I don't mean to keep you too long,
   Concerning a fowl and his breeding.
   Within the last season was bred
   This cock was a hand fighting gamester,
   I mean the Kildallon Brown Red.
