    as the goose. They also use scissors , sewing machine and needles . The everyday working shirts ae made at home . Dress shirts for Sunday wear are bought in the shops . Long ago the linen was made from flax . A man called a weaver made the linen from the flax . They bleached it and the women made it into shirts and sheets . Socks ae knitted locally . there is no thread spun locally . There ae not spinning wheels in this district nowadays.
