How some of the games are played
These are the games I play at school , I play hide and seem.One or two will seek and the others will hide and the one that seeks will look for the hidden one.
I play big. The way you give it out is you count up to twenty and who ever gets twenty has big.
tug -a-war two parties put against each other,
Pop goes the weasel is another game I play . Three handkerchiefs are you would say a half-penny for a cotton ball penny for a needle that the way the money goes and pop goes the weasel.
- Some people in our District never wore boots. Children go barefoot in the summer months and wear boots in the winter months. Boots are repaired locally. There was a shoe maker in the District his name was James Cologan he lived(continues on next page)
