    she goes out the door is shut. When she comes back to the door, the people asks "who is that". The girl replies Saint Brigid. Then she goes round the house three times. When she had gone around the house thrice she is admitted in. Then they start to make the crosses. They tie the rushes together in the shape of a cross. They put them in the roof of the house and in the byres also.
    It is said that it is unlucky to get married on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
    Some people don't like to give away anything on May day. It is said that is is unlucky. On Good Friday people dont work 'till after twelve o'clock.
