  1. There was a man who used to come around this district. His name was Philip Driscoll. He used to go around twice or three times in the year. He does not go around still. He used to make umbrellas and sell them. He used to mend umbrellas also. The people like to see him coming. He used to tell stories. The people like to hear the stories. He used to sleep in different places. Some people used to give him a bed and let him sleep in the barn. Some used to let him sleep in the hay shed and others used to let him sleep in a bed in the kitchen. He used to stop a night at every house.
    There was another man and he used go around selling delph. His name was Butler. He used to go around at the same time every year. He did not stay at the houses.
