  1. In '98 the Croppy man was going with a message to the Rebels, some English soldiers were in Laragh Castle and they saw him and they shot him, and the women of the district buried him because all the men were fighting.
    Andrew Thomas was fighting in '98 also he was butler for Mr Hugo, one day he took Mr Hugos best gun "Roaring Bess", and he went to the top of the mountain in front of the house, he wanted to show Mr Hugo what he could do, Mr Hugo was outside the hall door. Andrew Thomas blew off the button of Mr Hugos coat.
