  1. On May eve a May bush is made. May flowers and candles are put on it. The candles are lit and the children catch hands and dance around it.
On St Peter and Paul's night a bonfire is lit in some townlands. The people come from a long distance to it. Everybody brings sticks for the fire. They dance around it until twelve o'clock and then they take a lighting branch in their hands and run through the crops with them.
On Michaelmas day a fair is held in Graig-na-managh. One from every house goes to it. They bring home with them apples and onions which they get on the fair.
