    Philip Furlong Turra never used to yoke a young horse until Good Friday as he thought it a lucky day.
    Some people do not begin to plough until Friday. Others make a vow not to plough on Saturday afternoon.
    The coldest days in April are said to be the tenth, eleventh and twelfth. they are called the Seanarigheache days.
