    Hens, ducks, turkeys are kept on every farm in this district. When calling the hen the people say chuck chuck. Hens are mostly set in the month of April. No one sets eggs in May as it is say May chickens never grow full size. Geese are usually set on St Patrick's Day and on Candelmas Day the good grey goose begins today.
