    A jolly old blacksmith in Kilmurry he dwells,
    A great business man and you all know him well,
    He buys and sell cattle for the farmers around,
    And he is manger of the eleven months ground.

    He herds a large ranch at taste to his trade,
    And on one Friday morning he missed a fat beast,
    In to the guards he immediately flew,
    And gave his description as best as he knew.

    Being the fair day in Clara he next took his flight
    He met some big dealers whom he knew alright,
