    Fanny, Pansy, Doilly, Daisy, Molly, Kitty, Snowdrop, Shiela, Patty. When driving the cow in or out you say "hou, hop on" The same is said to the calves. When calling calves you say "suck suck"

  2. The cow house is a big house with a galvanized roof. There is a long manger inn it, and the manger is divided into many different parts, so that each cow may have a part for herself. There are chains tied to the manger and the cows are tied to them. They are tied by the neck.

  3. We tie our cows by the neck at home. The things are made of iron chains attached on to a piece of black loured down in the ground and the chains are tied around the neck of each. The local mar name for them is
