When driving cows home I say "Go on" or "Hi home" - Extracts from the composition written by Henry Levingston, Bolinahaney. The other parts are identical with the essays by the other pupils.Only one of our cows has a name and it is called Hanlons cow. When I go for the cows I generally say "Come on and when I am putting them out I say "Go on." (Calves - suck suck)
Our cow house holds nine cows and there is a loft over head for the straw with we fodder them. Two doors lead to the cow house, one big one and another small one. Bales hold the cows around the neck and these bales are made of timber.
