  2. In a place called Ballinaslaney there is a Blessed Well. It is called St David's well. Many years ago this well cured hundreds of people.
    But owing to the field being owned by a Protestant the well was closed for a century. One evening two local men were arguing with the grand son of the Protestant man about the well, and he gave them permission to open it once more. It was on a Saturday evening in the year 1910.
