    times glow with sparks. Another sign of rain is when you see the glass of the windows dull, or when the sea is roaring. When the sky is dark, or when you see threads on the grass it is a sure sign of rain. Another sign of rain is when the salt becomes damp. When the roads are hard and slippery it is a sign of snow.

  2. Birds are to be found in every country of the world especially in Ireland, even in winter we are not devoid of song.
    Practically all birds are helpful to man in keeping down insects and other pests, and some, such as the finch family, help to destroy weeds.
