  1. One morning there was a priest saying mass in the "mile stone" field, Ballygarvan, Gusserane, New Ross, Co. Wexford. The soldiers were passing by the road and they heard him saying mass.
    They went into the field and caught the priest and beheaded him.
    There is a "priest's path" from Connor's Moor Ballygarvan leading to the mass stone in the "mile stone" field, also in Ballygarvan, New Ross. Co. Wexford.
