    son named Anthony Grourke residing at Keel one mile east of Ballymahon cured several people afflicted with a disease called Ring-worm. The person afflicted had to visit him three times. On Monday,Thursday,and the following Monday three occasions.
    Tooth-Ache - Mix butter with soot and then apply to the bad tooth.
    Whooping-Cough - In olden times children afflicted with whooping cough were put in and out under a donkey three times.
    Sore-Throat - Put roasted salt into a wollen stocking and tie round the neck going to bed this also apply to a sprained ankle.
    Ear-Ache - Put a small roasted onion to the ear securing it with a bandage.
