vanished. The well was ever after called Patrick's Well.
It is situated on the top of a rock and on the hotest day of Summer there is water in the well. Near the well is a white thorn bush. It is growing on the rock. This well is specially recommened for the cure of warts. Pins are left in the well as an offering. When you bathe the warts you dip your fingers in the water, bless yourself and rub them on the warts. Then you say a prayer to Saint Patrick.
