  1. In Mr Johnston's field in Knockdomny about a mile and a half north west of Moate there is a rock with a hole in it. This hole is always full of water.
    People who have warts got here to get them cured. They dip a pin into the water and rub it on the warts. They they throw the pin into the water and when the pin rusts the warts wither away.
