    There was A man, one time, of the name of Hector Bone who lived in Taughmon. One day a sheep fell into a sandhole and died. He got her dressed up for the men's dinner. Every day before dinner he used to give out the Angelus until one day one of the men said he would give it out. The master agreed and started saying:- "O God on high look down on us, below and send us meat that we can eat, and take away this dammed auld yoke."
