  1. Travelling people still call to our home. The same people have been doing so for many years. Some of them are very poor. The sell small articles and many buy from them. We do not know where they obtain their supplies.
In country places they are welcome. Some of them sleep in tents and others in caravans. They bring food with them. They accept money and food for alms. Some of them travel on foot others in springcarts and others on bicycles. Some of them travel singly and others in two's. The names of them are Keenas and Gavins. The Gavins visit our district the most frequently. None of them have any special times to come round. Some of them bring news from distant parts. We do not know whether the people gathered round to hear them tell stories.
