- (continued from previous page)tricks played. First trick. A basin of water is fetched and a penny placed in it.
Whatever person can take up the penny in his mouth can have it for his own.
Second Trick. Three saucers are got, water in one, clay in another and the next one a ring is placed in it. One person is blindfolded if he touches the saucer with the clay in it he is the first to die. If he touches the one with the water in it he will sail across the sea, and the one with the ring he will be married first.
