    If any evil come to me I pray to the Sacred Heart of Jesus to come and save me
    If any evil come to me I pray to the Blessed Virgin to come and banish it away from me.
    In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I lay me down to rest
    Bless us O Lord, defend, protect, and govern us this night from all sin and danger
    Into thy O Lord I commend my Spirit
    Lord, Jesus, recieve my soul.
    When the old people saw a new moon they would say:-

    I see the moon and the moon
    see's me. God Bless the moon
    and God Bless me
