    As I went down thoo Archerstown it was on market day

    As I went down thro Archerstown
    It was on market day
    I met the biggest ram Sir
    That ever was fed upon hay
    This ram sir had four feet Sir
    for he to stand
    And every step he would give would
    cover an acre of land
    Singing Ho dingle darby and he dingle dee.
    This ram Sir he had a tail
    Most wonderful to tell
    It went all round Archerstown
    And many Miss R___'w bell
    Singing etc
    This ran, Sir, he had a horn
    That grew up from the moor
    P__ W__ wert up in February. And didnt come down till June
    Singing etc
    The man, Sir, that killed the ram, was up to his neck in blood
    The boy that held the basin, Was carried by the flood
