    the building until it was at last complete, and a valuable hunter stabled there. Next morning on going to take out his hunter for exrcise, he found to his great surprise that the roof had being lifted off bodily and left lying in the field across the road. Again he had it roofed and again was the roof lifted off, and this time was found floating on Newtown Lake some hundred yards distant. No attempt was ever again made to roof the building, and so it stands to this day and is known as "The Old Barn".
