  1. Three children at least is necessary for ghost in the garden. One of the children must be the ghost and the other the mother and the other the child. The ghost must hide in a small place as a garden, and he must have a knife in his hand. The mother will send out her child for a head of cabbage. The child will run to the garden for a head of cabbage and while she is just going to get the cabbage the ghost will run screaming after her. The frightened child will run and tell her mother "There is a ghost in the garden." The mother will say "go and get the cabbage and don't be annoying me." The child will have to go again and she will
