    Years ago, well-to-do people always wore Paisley shawls, which were very expensive. There was a special knack in folding them.
    About sixty years ago all the men even the ordinary working-men used turn out on Sundays in tall hats and long-tailed coats.

    Long ago in the farmhouses, there were dressers filled with mugs, on which were depicted pictures, stories, and verses- all about farm life, such as- "God Speed the Plough", "The Harvester", etc.
