Many hundred years ago, there lived a schoolmaster whose soul was sold to the devil. He used to teach school in a place called Mayne. He used to turn himself into different animals and frighted the children. He put a spell over them that they could not tell their parents. The parents saw their children so frightened and so tired that they arranged to go to the school to investigate. They demanded an explanation of the master. For answer he turned himself into a black pig of ggreat size and ferocity and immediately(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
