    the fairies was inside in the fort & he heard the lovely singing going on outside. He told some of the fairies to go out & bring the man in. They went out & asked him to come in & he said surely. He went in to the king's room & sat down. The king asked him to sing a song and he sang a song for the king. The king was well pleased with how he sung it and he told the fellow he'd do any obligement for him that he worked. The fellow told him he'd be glad if he'd do away with the hump that was on his back. The king ordered a couple of the fairies to go over & lift the hump off his back & leave it over on the shelf. They did that. The king told him he could go away home
