    down by the ditch where he saw a man with a green coat and a red cap sitting on the ditch. The cow was scared and the man went to hit the cow and when he turned round again the fairy had disappeared into the fort. It is believed that on the fort in Blackraw there is a giant's grave and it is possible to see the track of St Patrick's knee on a stone.
    The fort of Romany is supposed to have been built by the fairies.
