A horse is usually called after the person from whom he is bought. He feeds on hay and oats in Winter but he is out in the fields in Summer. He is shod about every month. He is clipped about in the month of March.
When driving a horse we usually say "tch, tch," to urge him on. The horse's cabin is called a stable. He has the same food and bedding as the cow. He is tied with a rope in the stable. When he is out he is tied with a rope to prevent him from breaking away.
The donkey is housed in in Winter but in Summer he is grazing in the fields with the other animals. The name we christened on him was "Jackie." When we are driving him we say "tch, tch." He has a bed of "litter" in Winter and is fed on hay and meal. He is tied with a rope when out in the fields.
The donkey is shod about every month. He is clipped about in the months of March.
