  1. Dandelion:
    The dandelion with the red vein through it is a cure for colds and bronchitis. It is saved under the sun and then boiled. The juice is mixed with brown sugar, treacle sweet-stich and licourice and then taken by the spoonful. The ordinary dandelion boiled is a cure for a weak heart. Wine can be made from the petals.
    Firn:
    The male fern is used as a purge for cattle. It is boiled. It is poisonous to man.
    Water-Cress:
    It is a cure for lungs and is eaten raw with salt.
    Seutch Grass:
    Boiled is a cure for Kidney trouble.
    Chicken-Weed:
    Cut up and boiled is a cure for the [?] in chickens.
    Cumpir:
    It is a cure for a hurt.
