  1. Seancheirdeanna - Timber Ploughs

Seancheirdeanna a bhíodh sa cheantar seo fadó agus cuid acu atá fós beo.

Long ago it was timber ploughs with an iron sock the people. This sock was made at the forge. It was also timber harrows the people used. There was timber pegs made of bogdeal in them. When a peg got broken a new one should be put in. The first iron plough was made at Harris's forge about 1858. Any Scotch who was around had them first.
