    and got up to listen to her about 11:30 o'clock. Another family named English living in GoldenGarden were said to have the banshee following them. In this case the person was actually dead when the banshee was heard. My mother was at Tom English's wake with her Uncle and a neighbour when the crying started around the house and nobody left the house until daybreak as the people were terrified. This happened twenty-five years ago.
