  1. Long ago my great grandfather used to make baskets. They were not the same as the baskets made at the present time. They were made of straw and some of them from rushes. He used work in a small house no bigger than a hut. He used sell the ones made of straw and as few of the ones from rushes.

  2. Some years ago my great grandfather used make candles for his own use. He made them out of the fat of sheep, which is called tallow. The tallow had to be melted with very hot water, so as to make it soft. He had shapes which he called candle shapes. He used call them tallow candles on account of they being made from
