    tied so that they wouldn't puck the other cows. There is a division between every two cows. The cow house is generally white-washed in order to disinfect it. Palm is put in the cow-houses because it is said that the cows are always lucky with the owner after. Behind the cows there is a channel in order to carry away the water, when the people are washing out the cow-house. The cow-house is generally cemented and squares cut through the cement so that the cows would not slip on the floor, and in order to drain the water.
