  1. "The Wild Rover"
I have been a wild rover this many a year,
I spent all my money on whiskey and beer.
But now for the future I'll lay up a store
And I will not be called the Wild Rover no more.
I'll go to my father like a dutiful son,
And I'll ask his forgiveness for what I have done
And if he forgives me as he oft did before
I'll never be called the Wild Rover no more.
