    the gold but any of them would not dare to go to dig for it. The three flag stones are to be seen in the fort to the present day.
    There is supposed to be a tunnel leading from the castle in Bruree to the Lios Ullium. From time to time attempts have been made to locate it even as late as the Black and Tan war. Whether true or not local tradition says that treasure is hidden there.
