    for the milk, a hay barn for the hay, a pigry for the pigs, and a small house for the young calves, and also a stable for the horses, and attached to these buildings is a little plot of ground called the haggard, in which they keep potatoes, turnips, mangolds and parsnips.
    The whole area is about 360 acres and a half of this is craggy useless land, and the other is good grazing land and some of it under meadowing and tillage. There are very few plantations in the district.
