  1. This happened in Kilcolman church some years ago. In the neighboroughood of this church there lived an old work-man in a little cottage with his wife and childern. This man worked in a farm near the church, and every evening as he came home from work he went in to the church to thank God after the day's work. One evening he went in as usual, he was surprised to see a coffin in the church and in front of the altar. He had not heard of the death of any local person.
    He walked up towards the altar, and to looked to see was there a name on the breast-plate. but could not see any name. He then returned to a seat, and knelt down to say
