Glenosheen and tease the police. He used to allow the police to be nearly up to him but then he would dash off. One day Padneen Fanac went to Kildorrery for a bag of meal. The shopkeeper who was named Mahony said he would give him the bag of meal free if he would carry it home on his back and he would allow him three rests. Padneen brought the bag of meal to Droicead na nGabhar and there he took a rest. He then put the bag of meal on his back and took it home. He had taken it home with one rest and got it free.
